New Pyeongtaek residential project

Hyundai Engineering & Construction has launched a new residential development in South Korea's Gyeonggi Province. The Hillstate Godeok Ellist complex comprises 1,779 apartment units. It is situated in Godeok International New Town, close to Samsung Electronics’ Pyeongtaek Campus. The project aims to meet housing demand in the rapidly developing area, as stated by Hyundai E&C.

Unit configurations and design

The development spans two distinct blocks within the Godeok Internationalization District. Block A12 features 942 homes across buildings reaching up to 23 stories. Block A65 contains 837 homes in structures as tall as 27 stories. Hyundai E&C stated that all units offer a uniform floor space of 84 square metres. Many homes incorporate four-bay layouts, designed to maximise natural light and ventilation.

Amenities and connectivity

Each apartment includes a multipurpose room, with specific configurations providing large walk-in closets and entrance pantries. Residents will also benefit from private storage facilities for bulkier household items. Communal amenities cover a fitness centre, an indoor golf practice area, and a group exercise room.

The complex also features a library, childcare, senior care, and general community facilities. Transport links include Seojeong-ri Station on Seoul Subway Line 1 and Pyeongtaek Jije SRT Station.

Market context and pricing

The Hillstate Godeok Ellist complex is subject to South Korea’s price ceiling system for new homes, as confirmed by Hyundai E&C. This regulatory framework influences pricing for developers and buyers in the Pyeongtaek market, which continues to expand due to industrial growth.

The proximity to major employers like Samsung Electronics suggests the development targets professionals and their families seeking modern housing options near their workplaces.
