Deluge Corp Completes Oversubscribed IPO

Deluge Corporation Limited, a Singapore-headquartered entity, successfully concluded its initial public offering (IPO), which saw an overall subscription rate of 3.86 times. The company announced it expects to receive approximately S$20.13 million in net proceeds from the offering, after accounting for estimated listing expenses. Shares of Deluge Corp began trading on the market on 16 October, marking its official entry onto the exchange.

Strong Investor Interest Across Tranches

Investor demand for Deluge’s shares was robust across both tranches. The public tranche, offering 800,000 shares, attracted valid applications for over 9.57 million shares, resulting in an 11.97 times oversubscription. The significantly larger placement tranche, comprising 14.8 million shares, received applications exceeding 50.6 million shares, making it 3.42 times subscribed.

Institutional investors, including Lion Global Investors and UOB Asset Management, participated in the placement. Additionally, cornerstone investors such as Amova, Avanda, ICHAM Master Fund VCC, Whitefield Capital, and HB Equity Partners committed to subscribing 23.4 million cornerstone shares at the offer price of S$0.60 each.

Valuation and Strategic Outlook

The IPO priced Deluge’s shares at S$0.60 each, establishing a market capitalisation of approximately S$87 million upon listing, based on a total share capital of 145 million shares. This valuation represents 10 times the company’s historical earnings, with a post-invitation FY2026 earnings per share (EPS) of S$0.06.

Lee Wai Wah, Deluge’s executive director and CEO, outlined plans to expand the company’s installed base, grow its inspection, maintenance, and repair services, and add complementary capabilities through strategic partnerships and acquisitions. Regional expansion is also a key focus, with Malaysia identified as the initial target market.

Capital for Regional Expansion

The S$20.13 million in net proceeds provides Deluge with capital to execute its strategic growth initiatives, particularly its stated regional expansion into Malaysia. This successful offering also establishes a valuation benchmark for the company, priced at 10 times its FY2026 historical earnings.

For investors and other infrastructure service providers in Singapore, Deluge’s IPO performance and subsequent trading will offer insights into market appetite for companies pursuing similar growth strategies within Southeast Asia.
