India's MK Sons Fine Jewels sets ₹275.4 crore IPO price band
The Mumbai-based jewellery retailer will offer shares at ₹153-162 each, with anchor investor bidding opening on October 27 ahead of the public issue.

MK Sons Fine Jewels to List on BSE, NSE
India's MK Sons Fine Jewels Ltd. has announced plans for an initial public offering (IPO) valued at ₹275.4 crore. The jewellery retailer set a price band of ₹153 to ₹162 per share for the offering. Bidding for anchor investors will commence on October 27, preceding the public subscription window from October 28 to October 30.
The company intends to list its shares on both the BSE and the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE), according to its statement. This market debut aims to raise capital for the company's strategic expansion.
Fresh Issue and Promoter Offer for Sale
The proposed IPO structure includes a fresh issue of up to 1.36 crore new equity shares. This component will inject fresh capital directly into the business. Additionally, the offering features an offer for sale (OFS) of up to 34 lakh equity shares by promoter Ramchand Murlidhar Raimalani.
Proceeds from the OFS will go to the selling shareholder, rather than the company itself, allowing the promoter to divest a portion of his existing stake. Aryaman Financial Services is managing the public issue, with Bigshare Services acting as registrar.
Funding Retail Expansion and Debt Repayment
MK Sons Fine Jewels plans to deploy the fresh issue proceeds primarily for expanding its retail footprint and bolstering its financial health. A significant portion of the funds will finance a new showroom in Maharashtra and the enlargement of an existing one in Gujarat.
The company also intends to use the capital to repay or prepay certain borrowings, thereby strengthening its balance sheet. Remaining funds will address general corporate requirements, supporting the jewellery retailer's broader operational needs.
Financial Performance and Market Opportunity
Established in 2012, MK Sons Fine Jewels specialises in designing, manufacturing, and selling fine jewellery, including gold, diamond, and cubic zirconia items. The company operates five showrooms across Mumbai and Ahmedabad, offering over 19,442 stock-keeping units (SKUs) at various price points.
For the financial year 2025–26 (FY26), the retailer reported a profit after tax of ₹52 crore and operational revenue of ₹539 crore. This IPO provides investors an opportunity to participate in a growing consumer retail business.
This IPO offers investors exposure to India's expanding jewellery retail sector, a market driven by rising disposable incomes and cultural demand. The capital infusion will allow MK Sons Fine Jewels to increase its physical presence in key regions like Maharashtra and Gujarat, potentially enhancing its market share against competitors.
Investors will assess the company's valuation against its FY26 financial performance and future growth prospects in the coming weeks.
