Goodluck India Stock Hits Record High on Strong Q1FY27 Results
The manufacturer reported 31% revenue growth in Q1FY27 and secured new defence and export orders totaling over ₹255 crore and $13.6 million.

Stock Reaches New High Amidst Market Weakness
Goodluck India's shares reached a new 52-week high today, trading at ₹556.3. This performance contrasts with broader market trends, as the Nifty index recorded a 52-week low on 7 October 2026. The company, established in 1986, operates within the BSE Industrials sector.
It manufactures and exports a diverse range of steel products, including pipes, hollow sections, and transmission line structures. Its clientele spans public and private original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), along with central and state government departments.
Significant Q1FY27 Financial Growth Reported
The company reported significant financial growth for the first quarter of fiscal year 2027 (Q1FY27) compared to the corresponding period last year. Goodluck India's revenues increased by 31%, while earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) grew by 46%. Net profit surged by 67%. Export revenues also saw a substantial rise of 53% year-on-year.
During this period, the company maintained a high capacity utilisation rate of 98%, indicating efficient operational performance.
Expanding Order Book Across Key Sectors
Goodluck India has secured a substantial order book across several key sectors. In the defence segment, the company holds orders worth ₹255 crore, with an additional ₹52 crore specifically for 155mm shells in a ready-to-fill state.
Furthermore, it secured an international export contract valued at $13.6 million for the supply of 14,500 metric tonnes of Transmission Line Structures. Management also anticipates considerable expansion in its forging division, projecting approximately 60% growth over the next three to four years, supplying global entities like ADNOC and Saudi Aramco.
Goodluck India's current valuation metrics show a price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 26.5 times and a price-to-book ratio of 3.6 times, according to Equitymaster data. This positions the company's stock as comparatively cheaper when measured against the broader BSE Industrials index, which trades at a P/E of 37.6 times and a price-to-book of 7.92 times.
For investors and businesses in Asia, this situation illustrates that companies with strong fundamentals and clear growth drivers can still achieve market outperformance, even during periods of overall market weakness. It suggests that sector-specific tailwinds, such as those in defence and infrastructure, can support sustained business expansion.
