Accelya Solutions Leads Indian IT Dividend Yields for FY26
Accelya Solutions India recorded an 8% dividend yield for the 2026 fiscal year, surpassing major Indian IT firms like TCS and Infosys, despite an 11% decline in the Nifty IT index this year.

IT Sector Faces Headwinds
The Indian information technology (IT) sector experienced a challenging 2026, with the Nifty IT index falling by nearly 11% year-to-date amid concerns about artificial intelligence (AI)-led disruption. Despite this broader market pressure, several leading IT companies maintained attractive dividend yields, offering consistent returns to shareholders. This trend provides a notable contrast to the overall sector's performance.
Top Yields Among IT Firms
Accelya Solutions India reported the highest dividend yield among its peers, reaching 8% for the 2026 fiscal year (FY26) after declaring ₹85 per share over the past twelve months. Alldigi Tech Limited followed with a 7.4% yield for FY26, having paid ₹60 per share.
Wipro Limited announced a 6% dividend yield for FY26, distributing ₹8 per share, while KSolves India Limited posted a 5.8% yield for FY26 from a ₹14 per share payout.
Major Players' Payouts
Among the larger IT companies, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) declared ₹111 per share over the last year, resulting in a 4.7% dividend yield for FY26. Infosys Limited offered a 4.3% yield for FY26 with ₹48 per share. HCL Technologies provided a 4.1% yield for FY26, having declared ₹60 per share. At 1 pm on 24 September 2026, TCS shares traded at ₹2090.10 on BSE, valuing the company at ₹7,56,469.74 crore.
Investor Focus on Yield
The sustained high dividend yields from these Indian IT firms offer a potential buffer for investors against the broader sector's share price volatility in 2026. These payouts can provide a consistent income stream, which may attract investors seeking defensive plays during periods of market uncertainty.
Investors will watch upcoming financial reports and dividend announcements to see if these companies maintain their payout policies in the current market environment.
