Binance to Host Asia Blockchain Week in Bangkok

Binance will hold its Blockchain Week in Bangkok from 28–29 November 2026. The two-day event takes place at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. This Asia edition follows previous gatherings in Singapore, Istanbul, Paris, and Dubai.

Binance, the global blockchain ecosystem behind the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, organises the flagship programme. The event occurs as traditional financial institutions and cryptocurrency infrastructure increasingly connect. This reflects a broader industry shift towards integration.

Focus on Industry Maturity and Convergence

The conference theme, “Evolve,” highlights the digital asset industry's move towards maturity. Thousands of cryptocurrency developers, institutional investors, fintech executives, and policymakers will attend. Discussions will cover technologies, financial infrastructure, and regulatory progress shaping the sector.

Binance Co-CEO Richard Teng stated Asia will build and use the next phase of traditional finance (TradFi) and crypto convergence at scale. He added the event will test responsible scaling and focus on practical progress.

Key Topics and Binance's Vision

Key topics include Bitcoin’s expanding institutional role and stablecoins as payment infrastructure. Decentralised finance (DeFi) for institutional participants will also feature. Discussions extend to real-world asset tokenisation, tokenised stocks, and cross-border payments.

Artificial intelligence integration and regulatory frameworks supporting responsible digital asset growth are also on the agenda. Binance views itself as evolving from a trading platform into a “financial superapp” connecting both financial worlds.

Asia's Central Role in Digital Asset Adoption

Asia remains a significant hub for cryptocurrency innovation and adoption. Thailand has become a key digital asset market, driven by Bangkok's expanding developer ecosystem and rising retail and institutional engagement. Binance Co-CEO Yi He noted that broader digital asset adoption, dubbed “Road to 3 Billion,” depends on access, education, and utility in daily life.

For Asian markets, this event underscores a growing institutional comfort with digital assets. It highlights the region's central role in shaping future regulatory and technological standards for integrated finance.
